Mycelium Made was the first project that worked on with ‘NICE FILM CO’. With a micro budget it was a pure labour of love from director Emily Medbury and D.O.P Harry Cassell. I jumped on board the project not having composed for film before but was excited as it was something I always wanted to do.

The soundtrack encompassed three different sections that morph from one another to fit the intended emotional impact of the visuals. It was an amazing learning experience and confirmed my passion for creating music for film.

To our amazement the film went on to win the Village Cinemas Unscene short film competition and the Frankie Good Stuff awards, as well as be apart of the official selection for the Environmental film festival and a nominee for the Geelong film festival.
